Ithaca (USA) - Schon zuvor hatte u.a. eine Meta-Analyse US-amerikanischer und italienischer Wissenschaftler unabhängig von Bems Arbeit Hinweise darauf erbracht, dass Menschen die Fähigkeit besitzen, eigentlich unvorhersehbare zukünftige Ereignisse vorherzusehen und entsprechend physiologisch zu reagieren (...wir berichteten). Laut dem PSI-Forscher Dean Readin ist derzeit auch eine Meta-Analyse aller Replikationsversuche der Bem-Experimente in Arbeit.
